Fun Friday: Norwegian Light Show

If you’ve been watching the news lately, you know that something odd has been sighted over Norway.  A big, bright light that spiraled out and widened into a circle and then vanished.

Sounds crazy?  Check it out for yourself:

Sadly this has since been cleared up as being a failed Russian missile launch, but really, who cares what the real explanation was?  Did you see that video?  It’s a pretty spectacular sight… and really, what great fuel for the imagination!  There are, of course, conspiracy theorists out there who continue to claim that this is really proof of extra-terrestrials—and while it may not be, it’s a pretty awesome premise for a novel.  The possibilities are endless with something like this… I feel like someone should snap this up as the leaping-off point for… something.  I don’t know what yet.  But maybe you do?
